Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Bolero, Mambo, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Nightclub two-step, Salsa, Samba, plus your favorites, if not listed.
We dance in the pubic lounges whenever there is suitable music and suitable dance floors because we like that atmosphere best of all. We also hold Private Dances if there are suitable accommodations for us with the availability for DJ music. Different ships have different spaces available to us. It is totally up to our discretion to choose where and when we will dance. We promise we will have the maximum time available for dancing during every cruise.
Absolutely not. Every participant is guaranteed that admittance to all Dance Events is strictly limited to those passengers that have booked their cruise through Let's Dance Vacations.
Yes, we always have at least one Pro Instructor on every cruise and they teach the Group Classes. They are also available for Private Lessons if you choose to purchase those in addition to your package. That is arranged directly with the Instructor, once on board.
We require they dance a minimum of Silver Level for Fox Trot, Waltz, and Rumba. Otherwise they must dance minimum of Full Bronze on all other dances.
We have a minimum of one Host/Hostess for every three participants. If we have 12 participants we have 4 Host/Hostess... if we have 13 participants we have 5 Host/Hostess. We always figure the ratio to the benefit of the participants. We have a base of over 50 Hosts/Hostess to choose from and arrange for them for all cruises after we can determine the number and makeup of any group.
Yes, we do arrange suitable roommates for you. However it is of utmost importance that you book early if you need a roommate. It can be difficult to find someone suitable if you wait too long to book.
Please refer to the page on "Policies". (Click here to go directly to that page.)
Please refer to the "About Us" page. (Click here to go directly to that page.)
Yes. US Citizens must have a Passport to re-enter the United States if you enter by land or air. If something would happen where you would need to fly home from any port outside the US, rather than by the cruise ship, you will need a passport for ID (Birth Certificate and Drivers License will not be sufficient) If you are a US citizen you also need a Passport to enter any other country. There maybe some exceptions , so please give us a call in regard to your individual situation. If your citizenship is other than the US, please check with your local authorities for ID and Passport information.
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance for everyone. Accidents or sickness can also happen when you travel. Some personal health insurance policies do not cover you while out of your coverage area. At the very least, please check that out with your health insurance company and then let us know so we can give you other options.
Yes, your Cruise Fare, Port charges, Government Taxes and Dance Events are all covered in the cost of your "Dance Cruise". However, that price does not cover Gratuities, Shore excursions, and any other personal purchases you may make while on-board (examples: Bar Drinks or Wine, Spa Treatments, Gift Shop purchases, Casino, etc.)
Generally speaking the deposit will be $100 per day, per person. Deposit will be listed on each individual Dance Cruise page.
Final Payments are due 120 days before sailing. Credit/Debit Cards are the most efficient way to pay your deposit and final payment. We accept personal checks but cannot guarantee stateroom availability and pricing until 3 weeks after we receive your check.
We generally eat Dinner as a group at the earliest time available because it allows for more time to dance that evening.
The ages range from 20 to 90+ but the greatest percentage of the people are between 40 and 75 years old. Please note that most dancers are "young at heart" so age has never been an issue with anyone of our participants.
Yes, we will assist you in finding suitable air from your home city to the port of departure.
Shortly after booking you will be able to go on-line and do your pre-registration for most cruise lines. At approximately 30 days prior to sailing you will also be able to print your Boarding Passes, Luggage Tags and other ticket information.
Prior to "Final Payment Time" changes can be made, most of the time. After that you would be charged a penalty fee to make any changes. Different cruise lines charge different amounts for penalties.
Prices are always subject to change at any time until your deposit has been made. Also, if the cruise line imposes any additional fees such as Fuel Charges or Government Taxes, we reserve the right to pass those charges on to the participants.
Yes, we do. Click here to visit "ATicketForTravel.com", our Full Service Travel Agency, for help with your other travel needs.
